CKE Master student
Brigitte Burgemeestre has been selected for the Japan Prizewinners
Programme (JPP), which is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education,
Culture and Science (OC&W). Brigitte underwent a stringent selection
procedure and is one of the “outstanding Dutch graduates with
a university master’s degree, who may aspire to become leaders
in Dutch society.” Each year, JPP offers 20 excellent academics
who have just graduated the opportunity to spend seven months in Japan,
preceded by an intensive course in the Japanese language and culture.
All the participants will spend four months working in a Japanese
organisation; during the remaining three months, the participants
will gain further mastery of the Japanese language and culture. Brigitte
graduated in August with a degree in Content & Knowledge Engineering,
based on research (together with Jan Brinkkemper) on the validity
of the driving simulator of the company VSTEP B.V. |
